Important date!

The first volunteer day at Judith’s Wood was postponed due to bad weather.  The new date is Tuesday 10th February 2026 with the Kendal Conservation Volunteers. The priority task will be to remove the fencing wire ready for the posts to be pulled out and the recovery of the tree guards. If you can come to help you would be very welcome.  There is a notice on our Facebook page. If you are able to join you will need stout gloves (barbed wire and blackthorn!) and any secateurs would also be useful. If the tree felling has taken place by then there may also be wood stacking and wall repairs to do.
